The optimism of the West Aceh Pj Regent was expressed, Saturday (03/08/2024) morning, a moment after directly reviewing the progress of the construction of the National Sports Games (PON) venue at the Sports and Arts Building (GOS) and Teuku Umar Field, Meulaboh.
During his review, Mahdi Efendi received a report from the implementing consultant and the supervisory team from the Aceh Housing and Settlement Office (Perkim), that the progress of the GOS construction had reached 80%. In addition, to meet water needs, a new borehole has also been built in the area.
Meanwhile, the progress of venue construction at Teuku Umar Field has reached 84%. With these developments, Mahdi Efendi is optimistic that the PON event scheduled to take place in September will be ready to use as planned. “We continue to monitor and ensure everything goes according to schedule. Insha Allah, these venues will be ready for use on time,” said Mahdi Efendi.
